North Pole Express, Union Depot, all day. A one-mile train ride to the North Pole at the east end of the Union Depot property. Along the way, write your letter to Santa; At the North Pole, Santa will greet the train and board the North Pole Express for the ride back to the Union Depot. Santa will walk through the train greeting all the children and collecting your letter!  At the end of the train ride,children can enjoy a free cup of cocoa and a holiday treat in Union Depot.

Grand Meander, Grand Avenue, 8:30am start breakfast with Santa, take a ride on a fire truck, and visit with Santa’s reindeer. In the afternoon enjoy the young art fair and Art at Ramsey, displaying art by the students in and around the Grand Avenue area. You can also take part in trolley rides, soup tastings, and the community tree lighting!

Knitting Social, MN History Center, 6-8pm. Choose a football team to follow, then buy yarn in the team’s two colors. Whenever your team scores, knit one color to represent the points in a corresponding number of rows. When the opponent scores, use the other color to represent their points. The Sudden Lovelies, Como, 4:40-6:30pm. Musicians perform in the Sunken Garden and music is also piped in to the Palm Dome and North Garden for listening and strolling enjoyment. Beer and wine available to purchase.
