Social Science 21+: Fermentation Informational, Science Museum, 6-11pm. $27/$22 member. Put beer under the microscope and celebrate the biology, chemistry and hand-to-mouth physics that delight your senses. With limited beer sampling from local breweries, fermentation demonstrations, beer density experiments, and presentations by experts. Guests will also receive a souvenir cup to sample 10 tasty brews from 10 local breweries. Schubert Club Live at the Museum, Landmark Suite 205, 7:30 pm. $12 Experience a biographical look at Samuel Barber through selected songs, from his boyhood and student works to his final songs he ever composed. In between song groups, Barber’s correspondence and other written records will be read, providing a concise audio-biographical experience of Barber’s style and his unvarnished appreciation for melody, poetry and lyricism.
