North Pole Express, Union Depot, Dec.5-7, 11-14. Minneapolis-based steam locomotive “Milwaukee
Road #261” and refurbished cars, maintained and staffed by RHMA volunteer
members, will provide the experience of a real steam train, Santa and his elves
and holiday fun for all. Your ticket
includes a mile long train ride to Santa’s village and then back to Union
Depot. Once Santa is on board, children will have a chance to meet Santa on the
way back to Union Depot.

& 2pm. $15. The bitter election between Andrew Jackson and John Quincy
Adams in 1824.

Holiday Bake Sale and Tree Lighting, Union Depot, 10am-4pm
(tree lighting 4-5:30pm) Top Twin Cities bakeries will be selling their goods
in the Waiting Room at Union Depot. Activities include: cooking demonstrations,
musical performances and fun giveaways throughout the day. Christos will be
offering gyro sandwiches and refreshments for purchase. $5 admission for adults
and seniors; kids under 12 admitted free. Commemorative holiday tins will be
sold for $10 and include one general admission, recipe cards from participating
bakeries, a Union Depot specialty cookie and a drawing form to enter to win
prizes.
