Courting Harry opens, History Theatre, thru March 24. Justice Harry Blackmun and Chief Justice Warren Burger look back on a friendship that started in St. Paul and carried them to the Supreme Court of the United States.

The Light in the Piazza opens, Ordway, thru Apr. 7.  Theater Latte Da presents this winner of six Tony Awards.  Romantic tale revolving around Margaret Johnson, a wealthy Southern woman, and her curiously innocent daughter, Clara, who spend a summer together in Florence.

St. Patty's Day Parade, noon start! 5th Street to Rice Park - PAR-TAY!
AND the two blocks spanning the Liffey Irish Pub, Patrick McGovern's Pub and five other saloons near the Xcel Energy Center will be closed to vehicles from 2 to about 10 p.m. March 16 for continued revelry. Can't fight city hall!
