How do we use our natural capabilities and innovative technology to understand the world we see? The Science Museum and St. Paul Art Crawl team up for this fascinating series.
Dr. Thomas Vaughan is a professor in the Departments of Radiology, Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. With work experience ranging from NASA to the DOD, his current research focuses on biomedical imaging—in other words, looking at ourselves in a whole new way. Barry Kleider began studying photography at age nine with his family's subscription to Life magazine. A long-time professional photographer and teaching artist, Barry brings his talents and passion for photography and visual art to young people of all ages.
